Carrot Mango

Ingredients:

  • 3 apples
  • 2 pears
  • 12 carrots
  • 3 ripe mangos

Directions:

  • rinse and cut apples into quarters
  • rinse and cut pears into quarters
  • rinse and trim ends of carrots
  • rinse and cut mango’s into quarters

add ingredients into juicer for a refreshing summer treat!

Watermelon Energized

This juice is sure to make you feel watermelon energized! Perfect combination for a summer refresher.

Ingredients

  • 4 carrots
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1/2 medium size watermelon
  • 4 apples

Directions:

  • rinse carrots and trim ends
  • rinse celery and trim ends
  • cut watermelon into large chunks – remove rhine
  • rinse apples and cut into quarters

juice fruits and veggies in juicer to make a sensational drink!

Apple Green Grape – nice and sweet

Simply delicious!  These flavors were made to be together.  The combination of grapes and apples is one of my favorites.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Granny Smith apples, quartered and cored
  • 1 Cup seedless green grapes
  • 1 Thin wedge lemon, peeled

Directions:

Using electric juice extractor, press apples, grapes and lemon. Whisk to combine.

Orange Carrot Juice

Ingredients:

  • 8 Large Fresh Cleaned Carrots
  • 2 Large Fresh Peeled Oranges

Directions:

  • Wash carrots and trim ends
  • peel oranges and separate into quarters

Turn on juicer, juice 4 carrots, then the oranges and then the remaining carrots.

Pour into glass and enjoy!

Bacon Corn Breakfast Muffins

Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon wheat germ
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup canned cream-style corn
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease 12 muffin cups.
  2. Place bacon in a skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, wheat germ and salt. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, corn, butter, oil and bacon. Stir egg mixture into dry ingredients, just until combined. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25, until golden brown.

Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Ingredients

  • 1 (2 pound) pork tenderloin
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup red wine
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Place pork tenderloin in a slow cooker with the contents of the soup packet. Pour water, wine, and soy sauce over the top, turning the pork to coat. Carefully spread garlic over the pork, leaving as much on top of the roast during cooking as possible. Sprinkle with pepper, cover, and cook on low setting for 4 hours. Serve with cooking liquid on the side as au jus.
